CMI Busselton City Reserves lost 3-2 to Dunsborough in their South West Cup semi-final.
Patrick Sheehan opened the scoring for Busselton from close range before they conceded two goals before half time. Teenage striker Patrick Tarrant then scored a penalty after being unceremoniously bundled over to get his side back on even terms.
Dunsborough quickly replied and despite the scheming of veterans Ianto Ward and Andy Cowley, Busselton couldn’t find an equaliser.
Notwithstanding the result, coach Anthony Mills would have been pleased with the continual development of young defenders Jaiden Chromow, Josh Hennessy and Mitch Snow.
